We build the Tabata app as a fitness timer application. This Service is provided by us at no cost (or with optional paid features in the future) and is intended for use “as is”.

Tabata is designed to work primarily on-device. Workout configurations and timers are processed locally on your device.

For a better experience while using our Service, we (or our service providers) may collect certain information, including but not limited to:

  • App version and build number
  • Diagnostics and performance data (e.g., crash logs)
  • Approximate location or region (if enabled by the operating system and required for advertising/analytics purposes)
  • Identifiers for advertising and attribution (where permitted, e.g., IDFA/IDFV or equivalent identifiers)

This information may be collected through mobile Software Development Kits (“SDKs”) and may be used by itself, aggregated, or combined with device identifiers, and shared with third parties for purposes related to:

  • Advertising (showing and measuring ads, frequency capping, fraud prevention)
  • Attribution (measuring ad performance and installs)
  • Analytics and usage statistics
  • Research and product improvement
  • App stability and performance monitoring

Note: Depending on your country/region, you may be asked for consent (e.g., App Tracking Transparency) before certain identifiers are used for advertising or tracking.

Tabata may use third-party services to support advertising, analytics, and app performance. These services may collect information used to identify you or your device.

3. Feedback and Email

If you choose to contact us via the in-app feedback feature, your message is sent using your device’s email application. We receive the information you decide to include in your email (such as your message content and email address), solely for support and product improvement purposes.

4. Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in the case of an error in the app, we may collect data and information (through third-party products) on your device called “Log Data”.

This Log Data may include information such as:

  • Device model
  • Operating system version
  • App version and build number
  • Configuration of the app when using our Service (screens, actions)
  • The time and date of your use of the Service
  • Other statistics related to performance and stability
